Damascus or Mokume-gane (木目金, Mokumegane) is a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Mokume gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal", describing the way the metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain. The metal is made from Tungsten and etched for an fashionable Damascus style. This particular band is made with smooth rounded sides and outer a Dome wall comfortable to wear daily.

The ring is beautiful. We ordered the wrong size, and he exchanged it without any hassle. Not only that, but he was on vacation and still managed to get the replacement out to me within a few days to have it in time for our wedding.
