After being finished your ring will be dipped in a jewelers polymer clear coat to keep it shiny and prevent the silver, patina, gold or other from tarnishing over time. This also means no worry of skin allergies or finger staining (re-dip may be needed in the future if it wears thin).
The coin ring is finished to show full detail on both inside as well as outside of the coin. By default the date is positioned to be shown on the outside of the band but I can fold it so the reverse side shows outward if you prefer (see photos to choose and be sure to let me know if you have a preference).
